Certain events, like Christmas, New Year and Halloween happen every year on the same date. If you enter the word "next" instead of a year, the countdown will automatically start to count down to the same date next year. You will not have to manually change the code or do anything, it will all be done for you!
Isn't that easy?
You can easily adapt this example to countdown to your child or spouse's next birthday or your wedding anniversary. It can be a handy reminder of how much time you have left to buy her a present!
Just edit the title and date to be whatever you would like it to be and click on the Generate Pop-up or Generate Framed button.
If your site or blog does not allow iframes or JavaScript, you can generate the URL for a link instead. For more instructions and explanations of all the options go to the Countdown Clock Help Page.
If, after reading the countdown clock help page, you still have problems or questions, please visit the Countdown Clock Forum on Google Groups.
There are many browsers and platforms, things do not work the same way for all. I have done my best to make it as compatible as possible but if you still find problems or errors please report them to me: E-mail Otto de Voogd
